You linked to the Team RAF blog
last year as they built their tris for the Everglades Challenge.
Now Alan Stewart (SOS of Team RAF and son of Dawn Stewart, SandyBottom
of WaterTribe) and his father, Paul, have begun
building a Core Sound 20 for the 2008 EC.

The
Boaters TV is a weekly podcast that features mostly power
boat stuff but also includes some quirky and techy features. Besides
there is the perky, 20 something, anchorperson. it's kind of like
Rocketboom with boats. |

Hi,
Just back from a short 3 day trip in my Navigator.
I've started a web page to document a few Navigator related things.
You might like to check the log and a few pics at Whitsunday
Openboat. I will update as new things happen.

When I was building my Tender
Behind there were times when I wished I could see a picture
of what I was trying to do. With that in mind, I have posted many
pictures of the Tender Behind build. I hope they help.

Some of the best small boat plans
available have come from the frozen north, and can be seen at
Hannu's Boatyard. Half Pea,
the Plywood Lath Coracle, the Portuguese Dinghy, the Mini Auray
Punt and more are there, along with clear instructions, photos,
and some video of the boats in action. - Mike C |

A trailer like this belongs to
a paddling friend - it is available from www.rackandroll.com
. I am too cheap, I built my own racks to carry my kayak over
the bed of my pick-up.... |
|
...here is a link
to a how to article from Workbench magazine, that I used to build
my rack. They work great, they clamp on the bed rails, I don't
think they would work with a toneau cover, though.

This
should be posted on as many Yahoo boat groups as possible. I especially
liked Yves-Marie Tanton's comment about the hull design being
essentially a beam. Do enjoy the vision of one man's journey.

You guys might want to take a
look at this video... |
|
... and this website
for the product, itself. I've been doing this for several years
and it works really well. Go easy with the torch and try to practice
with some scraps before you do the final thing.

Shorty posted this great
story of a PDRacer distance record from a german builder.... |
|
... and there are videos
too. Not too many pictures of the guy, though. |
|
Fleabomb posted this time-lapse
video of two guys building a PDRacer in Idaho. Great music! |

How good are you at docking? Well
then try this docking
simulator. It's not as easy as it looks even without adding
current and wind.
