I'm not sure what this is, but it was suggested on the Duckworks forum by JJ Dobrikin. Be sure to look at the Flyer. It's in German but has good pictures.

Bruce Dillahunty runs the Craft a Craft blog and has a great bunch of photos of a completed Origami folding Dinghy

click to enlargeI came across the US Coast Guard's downloadable audio files of VHF mayday and pan-pan calls and put the clips into iMovie/QuickTime and created transcripts of each call using subtitles (a lot of work!). One of the calls is truly frightening. Another was used as evidence
in a felony indictment (false distress call) that lead to jailtime. These recordings strike me as instructive.

I probably got this site from Duckworks, but on the off chance I didn't, here's a guy building a Walkabout, just launched as a matter of fact...

...Also, while browing you Duckworks website update today, I saw the link for carbon fiber sleeving. Here's a source I've used; I think the variety is greater and the pricing a little better.

Robert Wagenvoort seems to have made short work popping his Piccup Pram up onto the top of the car. I expect what it will do is not make life easier for most, but rather encourage the development of even heavier "cartoppers"...

When I was in the navy we had a time or three with some typhoons and other rough seas, but look at this video at about the 1:00 minute mark - I never saw the passageways move around like that!

This Joansa builder's site is very thorough, an excellent build IMHO. When he makes mistakes he tells you about them, etc.
